Interested in some friendly competition while learning and networking with fellow club members? Our club tournaments offer all this and more! These events are open to SU Illinois club members and emphasize helping everyone catch more fish. At the weigh-in, learn how & where the winners achieved their success while enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch.
Big Money Tournaments
Ready to step up to a more challenging competition with higher payouts? Consider entering one (or more) of the "Big Money" tournaments available in northeast Illinois
and southeast Wisconsin. These contests are open to the public and offer the chance to match your skills against some of the top anglers on Lake Michigan. While the format may differ from one event to the next, the fun is guaranteed!
Kids' Derby
Our annual FREE Kids' Shore Fishing Derby provides an opportunity for youngsters to explore fishing as a family-friendly recreational activity while learning about the environment and the Lake Michigan ecosystem. If your kids or grand-kids need to put down the video game controller and get out into the fresh air, bring them out for a day of fishing & prizes for all.
